ANNUAL BOARD MEETING (Open to the Public)-This Monday, October 3, 2016! 7 p.m.

This from the fearless president of the Board, Susan Conger:

Wondering what's happening these days at the Montague Common Hall?

The Board of the MCH will be holding its Annual Meeting on
Monday, Oct 3, 2016 at 7 pm,
and *YOU* are invited to attend!
The meeting will be held at the Montague Common Hall, at
34 Main Street in MC, and will last approximately one hour.

You can show up just to listen...
or to ask questions... or to propose a great idea... or to get involved in
an upcoming event... or to explore the possibility of becoming a Board
member yourself. ("Several of the above" is also a good option.)

The Montague Common Hall is a wonderful community resource, and it
absolutely needs the ideas and energy of community members in order to
thrive.

We would love to see you on Monday evening!

-Susan Conger, on behalf of the Board

Fall MCH Clean-Up and Work Day Saturday October 15th 10 a.m.-2p.m.

Clean up day photoOur Spring Cleaning was a HUGE success! Thanks to all who came out! We raked out the garden, planted pansies, fixed the door to the main Hall, both bathroom doors, and the hose from the dehumidifier to the outside - Yay! In addition, we painted down the stairs, and reorganized the utility closet.  It was so satisfying, we want to do it all over again--please join us!

On October 15th we will be tackling:

1. Raking leaves -bring your own rake!

2. Garden: weeding as needed, planting bulbs, cutting back old growth, mulching.

3. Painting: Finish chair rails, doors in Main Hall, and if someone tall comes, finishing the stairwell :-)

4. Winterizing: Installing winter window inserts, repair basement windows.
