As we move into the cooler, darker season, things at the MCH are heating and brightening up!
News
Accessibility Ramp in the Works!
Come to the Benefit Contra Dance on October 27, all donations matched up to $2,500!
We are doing Deep Pocket Fundraising to finish paying for our newly installed heating upgrade, as well as for our landscaped accessibility ramp project, slated to begin next year. Clay Larsen, one of our newest board members and a landscape designer, has graciously donated his time and design genius to beautifully integrate the ramp into a multi-use terrace and garden. See our website for sketches and more information on how to donate. We are applying for multiple grants, AND ALSO really need local donors who love the Common Hall to step up and help us make this happen. You know who you are – be in touch!
New Heating/Cooling/Dehumidification System!
Thanks to your support and a grant from the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts, we have finally replaced our ancient heating system with a newer, greener solution, which now includes air conditioning in the summer, and dehumidification year round, goodbye musty smells! Climates by Pomeroy did a great job and got it done in time for winter. Thanks Sam, Dave, and crew!
MCH Fall Clean Up – 10/26!
If you’re looking for ways to get involved at the Common Hall, but aren’t sure how, come to our Very Welcoming Autumn Clean Up Day on 10/26 (deets below). It is a super fun, low stress, and satisfying way to meet your neighbors. Also? SNACKS, need I say more?
