Wings of Desire
Director: Wim Wenders
Wings of Desire is Wim Wenders' much-loved hymn to a divided Berlin. Damiel and Cassiel are a pair of trenchcoated angels who watch over the city, silently comforting its citizens in their hour of need. But captivated by a beautiful French trapeze artist, Damiel (Bruno Ganz) decides to trade his gentle, angelic life for the torturous emotions of human life. Awarded Best Director at Cannes, WINGS OF DESIRE is beautiful, personal and universal. With the depth of a poem, the world of Wings of Desire stays with you long after watching the film.
$10 - $20 suggested donation. All proceeds go to the development of an accessible ramp to the Hall.
