Singer-songwriters E. Horace Winston III & The Midnight Swerve will be the featured performers at the Montague Common Hall Open Mic Series, September 14, 2024, 6:30-9:30PM.
They will spread joy in a premier event featuring tales of passionate love and songs of daring romance drawn from 1920-30s Tin Pan Alley. With debts owed to Leon Redbone, Victor Borge, the Pussy Cat, and the Owl. E. Horace Winston III studied under Miss Honey, performing an unencumbered repertoire in venues such as the legendary Fitzgerald Theater in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the Academy of Music in Northampton, Massachusetts, and scores of venues throughout western Massachusetts. For an evening out, on a boat pulled by flamingos, you cannot do better.
*Masks encouraged but optional. Unvaccinated attendees are encouraged to wear masks;
*Performers can start signing up at 6:15. Names will be drawn and a random order will be created. Expect to play 2-4 songs (10-15 minutes), depending upon the number of performers.
