The War on Labor: 100 Years Ago and Today
Charlie King and Candace Cassin will present an original production of songs, slides, and stories, about two brutally-suppressed copper miners’ strikes in 1917 in Montana and Arizona. Workers were subjected to immigrant-baiting, union-busting, deportations, and vigilante violence. These tactics continue today.
Discussion and refreshments to follow. * Suggested donation: $10-$15 * All are welcome
