Craftng Gift Fair!

At the Montague Grange, 36 Main Street, Montague Center. Come sit and make various crafts and walk out with a bagful of completed gifts for your families and friends. The Annual Make-and-Take Craft Fair: Holiday Gifts You Can Make or Buy is being held at the Montague Grange Hall on Sunday, December 4 from 10 AM - 3 PM by the Friends of the Montague Grange located at 31 Main Street in Montague Center. People of all ages can make lovely gifts, enjoy a homemade lunch, and shop for hand made gifts and collectibles. Gift-making activities include: rolling colored beeswax candles and making unique holders, beading delicate snowflake ornaments and jewelry, decorating greeting cards, decoupaging light switch plates, painting hand blown glass and ceramic ornaments, creating sweet gnomes and fairies from fabric scraps and natural materials, making refrigerator magnets with marbles and tiny photos that you bring, creating miniature food for dollhouses, magnets and ornaments. Admission is $1 per person and the gifts cost $3 - $10 to make. The Grange Hall, which is used for dancing, concerts, plays, parties, Mutton and Mead rehearsals, special events and workshops, and much more, is located on Main Street at the town common in Montague Center. Help the Friends of the Montague Grange raise the funds that are sorely needed to repair the Grange Hall -­ and have fun doing it. Visit or for updates and events.
